Mt.
Trial Horse Center
- Breathless from a gallop, you feel
your heartbeat slow as your horse does. Quietly, you duck
beneath a canopy of green. The horses spread out in a line,
heading deeper into the woods. Soon you come to a small,
rushing stream. The horses cross; some stop to drink. With
a pleasant tiredness, the kind that comes from exercise,
you look forward to the camp ahead. You've covered miles
since morning, experiencing nature in the way of your ancestors.
