Labor Day Weekend Brings the Johnstown Folk Fest
Once Again!
If you think nothing good comes for free these days, think again!
There is one event you don’t want to miss if you love music
and the outdoors! And it’s so good that it gets repeated
every year! It’s a folk music Festival where you can lay
back and soak in all the bluegrass and folk music you can handle
for three full days, and it is absolutely free!
Located in Johnstown Pennsylvania
about 50 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, the Johnstown FolkFest
is an annual event that is held over the Labor Day weekend. The
Johnstown FolkFest has earned its reputation as one of the best
folk music festival in the nation according to many dedicated
fans who return year after year to enjoy the festivities! Folks
travel from near and far to attend this popular event, drawn by
the array of musicians ranging from bluegrass and blues,
honky-tonk, country, rockabilly, zydeco, roots rock, jam band
and then some. There will be plenty of food and drink from a large
variety vendors providing traditional American to ethnic foods
for every taste. This event is sponsored by JAHA (Johnstown Ameriserv
Heritage Association) and because of its popularity JAHA looks
forward to continually supporting the Johnstown FolkFest every
year.
